Returns Policy
We want you to be 100% happy with your Aster & Oak products and we welcome you to reach out to us regarding a faulty product or sizing problem. We strongly advise all customers to check items thoroughly upon delivery, before removing any attached tags.
30 Day Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Full priced Items can be returned for a store credit for the original item price to purchase a different size or items that may suit better.
Returned items must be in the brand new and original condition as purchased, with all labels and tags attached. If an item is returned with any of the above conditions, Aster & Oak has the right to charge a cleaning fee which will be taken out of your store credit:
- Goods must be in their original condition with the tags attached, including original packaging
- Unworn, unwashed, with no marks
- No perfumes or smells
- Free of contaminants such as pet hair and chemicals as this is a breach of our GOTS certification
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:
The above policy is applicable solely to full-priced items and does not extend to online promotions such as the EOFY sale, Black Friday, Afterpay Day sales, or any other promotional events. Each of these events will have its own set of policies and terms in place. If you have any inquiries or uncertainties regarding a specific item, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. All Mystery Bags, Gift Cards and Outlet Shop Sales are final and are not eligible for return, exchanges or refunds.
Stockist Items:
Items purchased through an Aster & Oak stockist must be returned to the original store. We cannot accept returns on behalf of a stockist.
How To Return An Item?
If you need to return an item, please follow the procedure below:-
1. Contact customer service on sales@asterandoak.com.au, and we will email a copy of the returns form to you
2. Place the item into a mailing satchel or box together with the completed customer returns form. The item must be packaged in a way to protect the item from transit damage
3. Post the packaged item to our warehouse - the address is on the return form
Receiving A Store Credit
All returns will be assessed. Once your return has been delivered to us, please allow 10-15 business days for your return or exchange to be processed. If we accept your returned item, then we will provide you with a store credit to the same value of the item paid (i.e the price you paid for it excluding any shipping). Please note, that store credits must be used within 12 months of issue. Unless the item is faulty or we mistakenly sent you an incorrect item, all shipping costs are at the buyer's expense. The risk in the item remains with you until it is received by us.
Return To Sender Orders
Return to sender orders will be charged a flat shipping return fee of $15 + any admin fees incurred during the sale. The remaining amount will be refunded back to your original method of payment.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If you believe you have received a faulty item, please reach out to us. We will facilitate the return of the item to assess the situation, and if a fault in the garment's manufacture is identified, we will provide a replacement.
